The word "lurk" doesn't exactly exist in French. "se rôder" fits in some cases, but another translation "se cacher" (to hide) fits others. I'd write "X crept into Y" as "X s'est gl

I find headlines like this unbelievable. Of course adding poison to your body is unhealthy and will affect mortality. The Canadian and WHO statements make intrinsic sense, it isn't quite smoking, but let's not fool ourselves about

It is a bug, it's been clearly discussed under the issues of LLaMA.cpp. The wait time is far from atrocious, with a 5600x and the 13B I would wait 15 seconds before input starts for a relatively complex prompt.

Good counter, I suppose it's irresponsible to act as though ANFO / ammonium nitrate alone is fully innert. What you'll notice looking through that list though is the vast majority of those accidents are related to fertilizer

I work as a drilling and explosives engineer at an active mine. I don't see the value-add here, to be honest. Modern explosives management (in a mining context) is extraordinarily well managed. ANFO (ammonium nitrate fuel oil) which is

While this is still impressive in and of itself, a couple of days ago there was news of it running on the previous generation of pixel. Not to reduce the importance, but with the pace of change on LLaMA projects right now, this feels a litt

I'm a huge fan of sour beer. My favourite brewery released a beer last year, each bottle with a small ziplock bag elastic band-tied to the neck containing a dehyderated "miracle berry" (the full name referenced in the first s

Indeed it was a 14X! I bought the M5402 last night which I believe is a little beefier. It's on sale right now in Canada for CAD$999: > https://www.amazon.ca/ASUS-VivoBook-OLED-Laptop-14-5/dp/B09Y...

I just bought a new laptop, almost went Framework. It came down to size and screen quality for me, given my use case. The one-size-fits-all 13,5 is a little small for my taste, and now that they're available I couldn't justify NOT

I've been following LLaMa closely since release and I'm surprised to see the claim that it's "general consensus" that's it isn't superior. I've seen machine and anecdotal evidence to the contrary. I&#

Great point and you said it well. Darwin was much the same, many of the ideas he discusses were already out there, but he brought them together in a novel, united, coherent, and compelling way that really made the idea of evolution stand on
