I can't imagine that this is permanent. Rap Genius is actually one of the most high quality lyrics sites out there, not another spam farm. So removing them for good actually reduces the quality of Google's search results. I do sus

If you are willing to spend some money for an initial burst of users, try advertising on https://ads.pof.com/ . Plenty of Fish is one of the largest dating sites and their self serve advertising platform is fantastic. Make a

Question, kind of relevant to the topic of talking to police: I heard that a cop can only search your car if there is a crime being committed. Say you admit to speeding. Then you admitted to police that you committed a crime. Does that mean

There's a conflicting opinion from a cop on Reddit. Basically he agrees that you should shut your mouth, not let them search your car just for the heck of it, etc ..., but when it comes to the question "Do you know why I stopped y

The place under the ads and above the search results is just where they put stuff like the calculator, sports stats, and other easter eggs. Yes they make money off the Flights widget, but that doesn't automatically mean it's bad f

I doubt that Google will ruin the integrity of their search results because they want to push Baraza. They do have widgets such as Google Flights pop up when it is clear the user if looking for airline tickets but that's not an indicat

I just opened a 1 gig movie file in ST2 and it took about a minute actually, so I was wrong about that one. My original comment was from my experience opening smaller log and image files.

I'm not trying to picky or anything, but what tasks did actually become faster? I'm only asking because my current ST2 (build 2220) is blazingly fast. Fuzzy search seems instant. Files open and preview instantly, even large binary ones. And

That sounds like a sticky situation. I don't think it's a matter of trust, but just a matter of principle for me. He can be the most trustworthy guy ever, it still doesn't mean it's a good idea to give him ssh access to your business. That

Same here. I was selling a PHP+MySQL script and about 20% of my customers couldn't install it despite my verbose instructions. I don't really blame them, I shouldn't have been making non-technical web masters navigate a cPanel account and m

Nice job on the app. Regarding frameworks, Backbone is very light weight and server side MVC is worth the weight IMHO.

I agree with a lot of the commenters here. If your website doesn't explain the conference clearly then there's no predicting the crowd that will be in attendance. People are basically gambling on the fact that this will be worth their time.

We're talking about two different things. I made no mention of PyCon rules because the sexual joke was clearly against their rules. What I'm talking about is Adria's double standard for what is offensive and what is not. So lets try this ag

That's fine, you can change 'a fireable offense' to 'unacceptable' or in her own words 'not cool'. My point and Adria's hypocrisy still stand.
