It's true this is a problem. It's actually a problem I ran into at another job and one of the reasons I left that job. It goes hand in hand with letting a bunch of a team attrit and then ignoring that fact. I find it often happens

Pay me well, provide good benefits, allow a flexible work schedule where I can work when I want to and still get day to day life stuff done and hire enough people so I can consistently work only the 40 hours you are actually paying me for.

I did. I took a year and sailed. Sold my house and used some savings. I couldn't have done it if I had kept my house though. I was mid 30's at the time (40 now). I don't work in the valley though, I just do data and analytic

Wouldn't make a difference in this instance. Not only would they need base stations somewhere in country but the users would require a dish. Both could and probably would be in this case found and destroyed by the military.

No, we just found a new way to identify exo planets. Specifically large Jupiter like ones. Though feasibly the methodology could be used to identify other types of exo planets as well.

I think you are incorrect in blaming older people for this issue. I would argue it's simply the increased user base regardless of age. When things are niche and communities small conversations tend to flourish and surprisingly I think

Oh, I use Strong as my tracking app. I really suggest some form of tracking. Either an app or a notebook. For me being able to look back at my numbers over time is a huge motivator.

Yeah, same. I actually found this with facebook as well. Since I quit both networks about a year ago I've been overall happier and have shifted that downtime to either just not using my phone or reading a book via kindle.

Yeah, I bought an extra one when they discounted them to near nothing after they announced they were discontinuing them. It's nice to be able to play games on my bedroom TV when I'm going to bed :)
