Please elaborate specifically how you would do it for a byzantine-safe distributed network.

Must try this out! I love how reframing challenges can change also how we feel about it! Nice work!

Yeah, I use LODs already but as you say, even my lowest lod far away is too many vertices. Imposter rendering seems very interesting but also completely bonkers (viewing angle, lighting)!

Well, the core issue is still drawing. I took another look at some profiles again and seems like its not the renderer limiting this to 27k! I still had some stupid scene-graph traversal... But clustering and culling is 53us and 33us respect

I can't say much about this code or your personal background, but my honest opinion is to take a step back and examine the principles. I used to be very bothered by abstractions, design patterns and structure. But I realized that when

I think they are calling Rust complex , not complicated. Rust is way more complicated than Go, when we are talking about language features.

A common hack to reduce ELF size is actually to start the first section (possibly the .text) right on the elf header, as this circumvents the alignment requirements.

I kind of wish we had a form of preconditions/hints for the C compiler. There are lots of attributes, but those all look weird. Imagine annotating a calculation that 1 is a common value for example. or that a function is never called w

The universities in Sweden were attacked by "Turkey" after the big quran-burning scandal. They had some twitter account bragging about it. Was pretty evident it was Russia.

I have been wanting to get into competitive programming. I am quite an experienced programmer. Is leetcode still applicable, or are there other sites that are more suited?

I'm just wondering when we're gonna get tagged filesystems. Maybe something partially hierarchical. Would love a book/ directory that i can query for 'sci-fi' or 'specification'. I guess one could implemen

Not sure I agree with your PKM point. It feels like it fits well for company/project structure. Reading his forum and a bit into the article it seems to advocate a "librarian" that keeps the system correctly categorized. I th

The discussions on static- vs dyamic linking piqued my interest. Is there any resources I should read about the history and concrete pros & cons of linking techniques?

Feels like I've read this quote somewhere else, maybe some lisp book/manual. Is this the original author? And on the topic of objective quality in PL:s, the article I read had some good points stating that it actually exists.
