Maybe easiest to compare: it is purely audio and relies on you playing along with the lesson you listen to. So somewhat similar to Michel Thomas but more modern. His main effort is to make connections between material that you already know

I own a bike with a big box in the front and parking has absolutely not been an issue for me. In the last six months I rode > 2600km in and around one of the densest European cities and parked in many different places. I have yet to find

Not relevant to the discussion but possibly for you: I discovered this 100% free no-signup audio-only course for Greek through a previous HN post. Amazing approach (like Michel Thomas but more charming and modern and free!): https:/&#

I think the issue here is more that the legal text could be interpreted as going quite far, even if this was not necessarily intended. Here the proposal , scroll down to 'Article 1' for content. https://eur-lex.europa

Someone should show these people Anki or maybe ClozeMaster. So many more effective ways to practice vocabulary than the Duolingo way.

Thank you for this recommendation. A programme that actually makes all materials available for free and only lives on donations really must be trusting itself. It sounds in style similar to the Michel Thomas method.

What security and privacy concerns the app itself sparks (e.g. just last week the EU institutios banned it for staff), it seems the real power is in the manipulation it provides and how intransparent the process behind is. It is fact that t

It's very sad that so much veggie food is now with egg. A horrible rancid flavour that meat eaters and veggies alike don't like. But it's cheap and heavily subsidised so goes into everything as a filler.
