I feel like those new all-in-one like Thermomix ( https://www.thermomix.com ) are the closest to a computer in the kitchen we have now. Europeans (and some star chefs in US) swear by it.

It is true to any new car, there is more electronic and more software than before. Maybe new EV are embracing it even more. But this seems the trend: more electronic, more software, less cables/gears. Yes, it is more complex to repai

Regardless of their agenda, the data should be public. Once it is public, we can argue about what is needed or too expensive. And the best reasoning should win.

Awesome! Thanks for digging that document, it is really interesting. I guess my parents living in suburbs, residential area basically meant to use electricity over gas. It would be interesting to see if this current shortage, is going to a

Sure, but if you really want to, you can communicate and coordinate. I know it might sound old and all, but before the mobile phones and pagers, people managed to communicate and coordinate. Admittedly it is not as easy, but it is possibl

Do we have data on this? I am surprised that "most of the heating is using natural gas" in France. In France, my parents last 3 houses (i.e. since 1986) have been all 100% electric. The one from 1986 had a gas stove though, but b

This event was planned way before the recent probing. This was an event to inspire and recruit bright minds. I doubt it has anything to do with FTC or NHTSA, or even Tesla owners. It was not to announce a new version of the FSD. It was job

This is a good point that most of us have difficulty to grasp. The innovation speed is actually increasing. While Tesla is spending a lot of time and effort on their AI (from hardware to software), they might be able to reuse it later for o

No sure why it is a big deal? Some people (like Cotton) said that the virus escaped a Chinese lab, but had not hard proofs. Lots of scientists said there are no hard proofs. Then we moved on... until we get more proofs. Anybody can claim

I have ophtometrist in the family, and the constant "do not rub your eyes" is burnt into my brain. Be gentle with your eyeballs, they do not like pressure. I get phosphenes from brain signals, most of the time sound triggered.
