You're just distracting. My point is this is what a windows manager is for, and you're avoiding to address that. Like someone else said, "You're not describing how a tiling WM fails to satisfy your needs."

> I am not talking about general tiling; just selective tiling for browser tabs. Right, so your windows manager doesn't support selective tiling, why doesn't Mozilla do something about it??!

What are you talking about? I have a perfect grasp of these things. As I said, half is in the shape area. You must've missed that. Also, that IS his mistake, it's literally the first thing in the post. And this stuff isn't ha

You're right. I guess that's not the author's mistake then. His mistake is assuming "the whisker is small, therefore it has a small number of datapoints".

Boxplots don't assume anything about your data. They just measure percentiles and put them on the y-axis.

You said "they're no longer in business", you didn't say "they lose money", those are not the same thing. You can lose money for a long time and still be in business because you're good at attracting capit

Buffet operates in an entirely different space than these people. VCs brand themselves as finding the next growth monsters. It's fine if they want to "find companies that you can reliably value and are undervalued by the market&qu

Exactly. All of that is reasonable and the behavior described are obviously present as anyone who's ever had a dog would tell. So I don't understand why "are animals conscious" is being debated at this point.

How do you "prove" that other people are conscious? This isn't a gotcha question: to me they're both obviously true. The question is what kind of evidence do you require, and why do people require different evidence for
