Government schools are like government housing: you only use it if you lack the means for literally any other option.

You might like kubernetes kustomize if you don't care for helm (IMO, just embrace helm, you can keep your charts very simple and it's straight forward). Kustomize takes a little getting used to, but it's a nice abstraction a

Where I live, it's lawful to collect your own road kill (as in this scenario), you're supposed to call law enforcement first. Back in the day, nobody had a cell phone, so it might have been okay.

As sibling said, I think the right move is they withdraw from linkerd, and start their own project. CNCF should appoint new stewards of the project or archive it.

Linkerd is a CNCF graduated project. It's unclear whether CNCF projects are owned by the CNCF or not, but in any case, it is clear that being a CNCF project you have to abide by certain rules. An organization unilaterally making deci

IIRC, the 'clipboard' for the terminal was separate from the rest of your desktop. You couldn't copy from your web browser to your neovim the same way you would with a GUI text editor.

This article is a joke. The apartments mentioned have a 1BR starting at $2,125. And it doesn't seem to be 'public housing' as much as it seems to be 'publicly subsidized private housing.'

I think it might seem pushy to people that are highly skeptical of the product, but in most cases, a sale is implied. When you go to Starbucks, they ask what they can make for you. They don't say "Let me know if you want to talk

Indeed. It seems fraud is table stakes at this point. Typically however, climate 'scientists' abstract their fraud. They take raw data, fit it to their 'model', and then produce a conclusion. Sometimes they get over z

No, the current theory is that the 'climate change is accelerating' at a 'rate never seen before.' The evidence of this is usually a graph of temperature to a logarithmic timescale. Of course, the data isn't granu

The US has reconnaissance satellite data that it provides to the Ukrainians. Each side knows where each other's troops are. I don't know where this report is getting its facts, but the Ukranians haven't captured any signifi

There are plenty of possible alternative explanations for the stratosphere cooling. First, we'd need data about which wavelengths of light heat the stratosphere and measurements about the solar output in those wavelengths. We'd

If you want to prove to me that CO2 induced cooling in the stratosphere, you're going to need data that shows that the cooling continued as CO2 emissions increased. The chart doesn't show that, it shows that it cooled decades ago

That video is about carbon, not temperature data. The only temperature data presented was the stratosphere, and the data doesn't go back far enough to be useful; even still, no linear effect shown.

There was an ice age, now there's not. The temperature didn't start increasing 50 years ago, it has been increasing for millennia. Hardly anyone denies that. We we deny is the 'never before seen acceleration of temperature.

Maybe. Or we know junk science and fake data when we see it. I guess the 'replication crisis' doesn't apply to the holy climate science.

The 'not writing modules' approach is for people that aren't comfortable writing code. I think most capable users for non-trivial things should write custom modules a lot of the time.

The given example is a poor choice. Capitalized elements are public, and it's not safe to assume this code isn't being used as a library by other code outside the immediate repo.
