Ah yeah, that's interesting. I was looking at the actual recognition code in howdy (basically leans on dlib's face detection), which doesn't seem to have any "3D" checker built in, but if it is just based on differe

More difficult, but if you can capture an IR image of the user, it can be fed in directly if you have a device designed to spoof a USB webcam. A really interesting writeup from last year: https://www.cyberark.com/resources&#

With the amount of volatility that most cryptos have, I think it makes more sense to convert to something stable unless your non-profit has a large treasury/flexible expense structure. If you do keep it in a stablecoin, there are some

Modern Macs are fine as terminals I suppose, unless you travel a lot or are on metered Internet. If so, then you have a lot of stuff to turn off. See: https://gist.github.com/mmillar-bolis/dcfb3d1814fb0532eb3c71...

While this is true for most vendors, this is not universally true. Lenovo specifically has an S3 BIOS option for some of their Tiger Lake Thinkpads (since they're Linux certified), although as you mention, it isn't always perfect:

A lower FOV actually translates to better PPD. You can use a basic formula: sqrt(hRes^2+vRes^2)/FOV. So a 100 degree FOV would give you about 36PPD, but a 90 degree FOV would actually give you an even better 40PPD. 60PPD is Apple'
