When I was doing web stuff back in 2003 the common opinion on webmaster forums was that one should never ever use GoDaddy. (There were cases of stolen domains, etc.) Maybe they changed now - maybe not. But I'm not going to find it out.

Hmm, I just don't like JS. It feels to me rather fragile. Alone == and === let ring my alarm bells. And the most examples you can find on the web for JavaScript are just a messy hell. Abuse of closures (are those real closures in JS anyway?

For me to develop anything webapp related the following must happen: The development environment has to become a lot better. I don't want to write my application in 3 different languages on 3 different layers using 3 different technologies.

Though it would be nice to have some understanding of OpenGL. It's gold worth if your UI runs sluggish and you try to fix that. Understanding how OpenGL handles things helps a lot.

I do this too with some of my iOS apps. I put them GPL licensed onto github and anyone with the knowledge (and dev license from Apple) can get the apps practically for free. But I'm not really vocal about that. If someone finds the source:
