It's a very bad look. I think even the large cloud players often cut deals with pro-social firms and it's very pathetic that Slack doesn't. It's not like its particularly expensive to run n+1 infrastructure.

Man, screw slack. WebKit also runs (ran?) on slack and because no one has been willing to foot the bill, search is significantly truncated. I tried reaching out to their sales team and several individuals there to see if they could do somet

You just called Israel a rabid dog, which is crazy. I can’t even begin to compute how this couldn’t be construed as disgustingly anti-Semitic.

Supposing this were true, which it isn’t. Wouldn’t you rather treat such a dog (this is disgusting metaphor) as opposed to killing it? And supposing you had a rabid dog you couldn’t put down, do you really think harassing it (October 7) wou

The trouble is, what is the right medium or long term solution. If Israel militarily fails as a state, which seems to me to be an implicit aim of a significant number of anti-Israel folks, the results will make the current Gaza conflict loo

"Python" is perfectly performant for AI and this demonstrates a deep lack of understanding. Virtually every library in python used for AI delegates to lower-level code written in C++.

I don't know if OP intended satire, but either way it is an absurd comment. Think about how "from scratch" this really is.

I've been thinking about something related lately. I've been going through algorithms problems and although I've been a very successful engineer, I feel terrible when solving algorithms problems. I had a realization, which is

It's not amazing. Assuming 3k people are using the connection simultaneously (I think these ships can have like 9k+ in practice), that is ~412.5kilobytes/second.
