   I try to use names that I think that I will remember. For files that I generate more than once, test data runs for instance, I use a date string that I have aliased in my shell like this: alias otag='date +-%Y-%m%d-%H%Mh%S'

   How I fall asleep in about 1 minute. I lie on my back relaxed. Starting with my toes, I spend a few seconds totally relaxing each joint and then I move on to the next one. It is a rare time that I visit all of my toes.

    I have always taken handwritten notes. I have been out of college for decades and I still carry a small 3x5 bound notebook in my shirt pocket for things that I want to remember. Truth be told, though, I sometimes use my smartphone camera

    I never write in books except to put my name on the first inside page. For notes, I prefer to use post-its as they can easily be removed if the book falls into someone else's ownership or if, as often happens, I wish to delete a notat
