I can’t see myself using this. I have a mental map of my folder structure and am actually proud that I can navigate and type the structure fast enough to move around. I feel that remembering which directory was last and adding some matching

Over 10 years ago I was a bit more invested in the ruby environment and the whole duck typing thing. I really liked dynamically typed languages. One thing I remember was when learning rsync that other libraries loved to write specs where al

The analogy I always use is the filling a water bottle one. In the beginning when the bottle is empty you can go full power and fill it up with high pressure. At the end you need to reduce the pressure to not spill the water. I know it does

When the first wave of null check operators came out our code bases filled up with ? operators. I luckily had used the operator in swift and rust to somewhat know what it can do and what not. Worse the fact that unlike rust the ? operator o

Back in 2011 I did the grave mistake of updating my iPad to the beta version of iOS. It was iOS 4 I believe. I took it with me on my honeymoon travel in US. My use case was to offload images onto the iPhotos app with an SD adapter. I bought

Ok this answers my question to the nature of the page. As in: Are these examples that show results you get when using certain inputs and prompts. Or are these impressive lucky on offs. I was a bit surprised to see quality. Last time I playe

I’m more in the lurker camp. But sometimes I write a comment or want to reply to something. Every now and then I type a super long comment to simply leave the page before posting. Sometimes it’s the fear of not being clear enough and dreadi

async is like a virus. I think the implementation in js and .NET is somewhat ok’ish because your code is inside an async context most of the time. I really hate the red / blue method issues where library functions get harder to compose

Sadly you had to know the underlying structure of the components to work around the performance issues. Main pain point I had to work around was the fact that most containers where scrollable by default and brought a huge update cost. For

I still run the theory that Apple has actors on staff to just “be cool at the Apple Store”. I once went into the local store during daytime in summer (my lunch break) to pick up an order. There was a very attractive young woman dancing next

I think it doesn’t matter. The point is that more people drive daily with these trains than most people in other states their respected train lines. It’s just shows that the US has nearly no train infrastructure when a theme park train has

You are right. I know that. That’s why I stay away from this and buy consoles. Only that they creeped in the same setup. One to play in better quality pay more. Or take the pedestrian version.

The Article forgot to mention that Counter Strike started as a Half Life Mod. And I remember friends playing UT mods more than the base game. I’m not very happy with gaming in 2025. I’m more a console gamer because the whole custom configur
