That depends on what you're doing. If you're running a bunch of bloated garbage like Discord and Slack and whatever then yeah, you'll need a lot of memory. If you're running mostly native apps you might be surprised how

Do you have a 13" MacBook Pro with M1 or a 14+" MacBook Pro with M1 Pro/Max? If the latter, it has decent battery life, but it's nowhere near as efficient as the regular M1 MacBook Pro. If it's the former, I guess I

I feel something like "OK, you made your first guess, now try to get even closer! Here's another image" would have been helpful.

In this case though it's "you failed! try again tomorrow!" (because it's a daily thing). The odds I'm gonna come back tomorrow are extremely low though.

I got 19 miles away with my first guess, the map zoomed in and I thought "that's a weird bug", zoomed it out, and then proceeded to guess other guesses that were hundreds of miles away. Interesting concept, but poorly communi

This is really really disappointing. I thought since Toast is frequently used as the POS system for restaurants, using the app to place an order was like placing it directly with the restaurant, no middle men like DoorDash or Slice or whate

Same. As trustworthy as Signal might be, the most trustworthy chat service is one I don't have to trust at all. Being required to give them access to my contacts was a dealbreaker for me.

He wasn't actually a co-founder though, his startup got merged into Reddit and he was given the "co-founder" title, but my understanding is that Reddit was created/co-founded by Steve Huffman and Alexis Ohanian.

I think they were trying to use the technology to get the pizzas to their customers faster and cheaper than a typical pizza place. I actually ordered from them a bunch a few years ago before they shut down, they were pretty good - good food

Did you even watch the video? There were no ads in it, and the part where he warns his viewers that he will never ask them for money is the whole thing he's talking about, that scammer bots are impersonating him in his comments and try

I'm all for pushing back on the idea that just because it's "old", that it's useless and needs to be replaced. Lots of old machines are still perfectly good at a lot of stuff, and can be had and upgraded for cheap,

While this is true, it's not really Apple's fault, most game makers just don't care about making their games Mac compatible. They don't even have to be Apple Silicon compatible, Rosetta does a surprisingly good job makin

It’s 2.5x as fast! That’s pretty significant, people will spend hundreds or thousands of dollars to get a CPU or GPU that’s 2.5x as fast as their old one, but when it’s a network speedup it’s not that significant?
