Each year apple has been shipping thicker and heavier products. I get that some people are happy but boy do I feel the heft when holding an iPhone 13 pro especially coming from a slim iPhone 6s Plus. If Steve Jobs was alive he would never l

You can drop images to the editor and it will automatically save in an `assets` folder in your notes directory. Is that what you were asking for?

Seeing Firefox teams callous take on a critically important Native file system feature [1], it comes at no surprise that major products are dropping Firefox compatibility. [1] https://github.com/mozilla/standards-positi

I read a comment somewhere in hacker news about a guy managing their daily planning on a locally saved plain text file. I started doing it and _loved_ it. But after a while I was missing some of that nice WYSIWYG UI interface. I couldn'

It holds all of the references to the dependencies strongly, which makes sense since it is a memorization helper function. It saves all the dependencies to avoid recomputing if the same dependency shows up any time in future. But in my case

You test the hook itself. It is a function after all and using hook testing library, it is fairly easy to test. And if you want to test the component using it, you simply mock the hook and make sure the mocked hook returns all the value you

Ya React devs produce 30% more code than Vue devs. I’m just joking, but it very unfortunate for companies to pay more for a given flavour of UI library.

I think the problem is (not in particularly you) that people want apples to apples comparison. There is no equivalent of lifecycle in hooks! Sure you can give some example of how to produce a componentDidMount, but that defeats the point of

I was debugging my apps monstrous memory leak. It took me quite a while to figure out that ‘useMemo’ was sneakily responsible for it. Currently the way this hook works is that it will hold references to all the objects that go through it. I

Imo, one of the hallmarks of superoganism is the propensity to sacrifice ones existence for the survival of the superorganism. Humanity in this sense fails this test because of a strong sense of individualism amongst us. I do believe we do
