They would have saved a lot of cents if the device wasn't internet connected tho.

I guess using and older version of explorer, or a free one from ReactOS could be a way around it. Another option is to use the server editions of Windows which come with a lot less of this kind of crap. There's also Ameliorated Windows

I played around with a GoIP-4 a few years ago. Btw the old dbladm backdoor still worked IIRC at the end of 2020 but needed some re (I suspect it still does) - you can dump the code from firmware updates. They mark new challenge types with a

Think about it the other way - you could have been a janitor for Apple and your new employers would be none the wiser.

IIRC quite a few botnets used to use public IRC channels as C2 servers (also a pretty bad idea).

The problem with leaving connections open is that there's a limit on how many you can have on the server... I think the author has committed self-DoS :) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slowloris_(computer_security)

Oh, that's really nice. I wish there was a widely accepted standard to write down arbitrary binary formats so one could inspect/debug them. Or even use it as a library to puck/unpack the data. I guess the 010 editor comes clo
