I think Twitter has more resources at hand to block. On a less technical note, this web-site is probably too focused on a negative issue, unlike say Wayback Machine which is general archiving. It not only violates the letter of the ToS but

This is probably a violation of the Twitter API ToS, i.e. "For example, your Service should execute the unfavorite and delete actions by removing all relevant messaging and Twitter Content, not by publicly displaying to other end users that

I am wary of bots after Wave. The vibe of a conversation went downhill really quick. I question too the utility of duplicating your posts twice. It's really hard to get it right without multiple overlapping groups of people seeing the same

Possible, but the last thing Google would want to do now would be to repeat Wave and Buzz and make it complicated and only enjoyable by sysadmins and bots. That would be definitely useful when Google Plus is available for Apps, though

Google circles was based on that real social network paper by Paul Adams. In the real world, there aren't 1000 "friends" to categorise. The oft-quoted figure of 150 friends come to mind. Not really high work to move 150 friends. It matches

Circles are great, however, the stream only does an okay job of using that information. All it takes in one hyper-poster or hyper-thread to overwhelm your stream, despite any ordering based on circle priority.

You seem to be having chain issues. Consult back with your SSL provider for documentation on how to install any intermediate certificates. I use the following to help diagnose SSL problems: https://www.ssllabs.com/ssldb/analyze.html?d=secu

I'll take the article with a pinch of salt. There's no indication that github did anything actively here. Github's just missing some abuse reporting functionality here.

Yes, that functionality is at https://github.com/account/repositories . I think the problem here is that there's nothing (?) to prevent the user being re-added. The article does state a github employee showed Zed how to do this - no detai

I have seen a good number of people solve this problem by literally doing it - i.e. contribute to an open source project in however small a way, look for jobs which actually do interesting things. The unfortunate truth is that most people d

This seems to be a competition against pen and paper. Barrier to entry here is so low, and other alternatives like Google Docs or Evernote will probably blow this away. Is this a feature or a product? http://venturehacks.com/articles/featu

Same thought here. I find it very bizarre that images are used in such a way. Here's one example of the image: http://www.networkadvertising.org/verify/cookie_optout.gif http://www.networkadvertising.org/verify/cookie_exists.gif

Just found out about Adioso. It knows about much more airlines (at least for the region I'm in) than say, Hipmunk, but it then asks to book each leg separately. I wonder if it's ever possible to have integrated flight booking with arbitrage
