Of course, there will be an outlier. I didn't state no history. One person doing wrong after being released shouldn't mean no one gets released.

Even if you compare like for like, SR Vs SR2, the responses, charges, and sentences still aren't the same.

I mean daily we have responses and posts based on feels, but anyway I would state mine is based on fact. Firstly, The sentence for running the exact same website, was 5 years. https://www.vice.com/en/article/silk-r

He was never a drug dealer, he provided a platform that was used to sell drugs. The pardon was a surprise, however his sentence was unfairly strict and he was clearly made an example out of that hasn't happened to any other platform pr

Based on the sheer number of posts that have misrepresented the charges or misunderstood why he was actually in prison, it appears to partially be a lack of knowledge on the case, likely due to time hazing some of the memories. Of course so

Whilst I understand your point of view that the change in circumstances can change how someone decides to act, I don't believe there is much history to show someone who gained a surprising second chance outside of prison has gone back

He has admitted his wrong doings and made efforts to change whilst in prison. I doubt he will go straight back to a life even remotely close to before. He was doing good in prison for other inmates and I imagine he will continue doing the s

Those with no failures never tried. Now I'm the complete opposite of someone who would usually say that but I believe it to be true. Failure at things is ok, it's just part of doing stuff. Just like death is an outcome of life. An

I enjoyed the site and found it useful to begin with however it became a playground for people who felt they were know it alls to get recognition. A little ego boost if you will and that ruined the point for me, which was to get a varied re

Most of the issues here relate to scale and actual quality of the idea/business in the first place. Hard things can really be split into, challenging but a problem to solve, or this never should have become a business. The former will

Is the UK more in line with the norm though and the US is the outlier? I would say the UK, Europe, and Japan all have similar wages (although Japan has worse benefits and on the whole a larger expectation of workers so it's not like fo

I completely agree with you. These anti cheat systems, whether it is related to video games or university work or anything in life, need to be fully open and transparent otherwise as you say without understanding and proof of what you did w

Without that it is impossible to make conclusions on whether anyone cheated. I think we actually agree, although I would use not guilty in the court of law standard, whereby it means not enough evidence to convict, not in the not guilty ==

Someone who won't say no and follows orders blindly is harder to work with than someone with unrealistic expectations and ideas. The latter is easier to deal with than the former in my view.

The issue should be less focused on why aren't the workers doing more, but more on who has let the few have so much power over others without being challenged. Society as a concept fails without workers.
