AFAIK, STTNG has one other advantage. They used real models and DS9 mostly switched to CGI. Old CGI is harder to beautify than models.

A couple of years ago (last time I worked with it) the SAP developer server images for consultants (iirc. it was preconfigured ISOs, it was a bit odd) ran on SUSE so there's a tight connection between the two. Since both have German or

It's still useful to understand data structures and algorithms on a conceptual level. Even if all you ever do is use premade ones it's going to be nontrivial to pick the correct ones in some cases if you never thought about the co

I consider it a little dangerous to rely on a single news source. Granted HN as an aggregator is better than relying on a single paper but it's still a bit unhealthy to read all news in a HN framing (assuming you read comments+newsite

One of my favorite sites of all time is searchlores.org I still visit it sometimes. I'd say it qualifies as fun and probably a little weird as well. RIP Francesco.

If you want to try modelling some stuff with petri nets, or rather more advanced abstractions, there's the FLOSS tool called "Renew" (Reference Net Workshop) from the university of Hamburg. The UX could be better but it'

This is also pretty huge from an ecosystem point of view. It means you can have books, video series, tutorials etc. targeting this final feature set which is very nice. Not that it's a huge issue but it's cool to buy a programming

How well would it work as a testbed for learning algorithms? I heard that you get good access to game data etc. Would it be feasible to be profitable at mining if you have a great prediction algorithm? I know nothing about the game but that

I'd call it an axiomatic system rather than a religion. Austrians distinguish between theory and history (pretty bad name). Theory is basically the action axiom and what you can derive from it and history is the application of this the
