So the SAMsung tiers are like this: S: flagship A: mid range M: mostly garbage I can absolutely use an A as my daily driver, but M I will not touch. And you paid way too much for an M series phone, I would say they are worth $80-100. Based

But the Rust project isn't exactly known for moving fast. I looked up a basic function I needed for a project and it has been stuck in nightly since 2017. Golang added the same function in a dot-n release.

Go is not a functional language. The most common complaint against Go seems to be "My favourite programming language has X, why doesn't Go has X??" There are things I would like to see in Go (e.g. real enums and the ? operato

Statements like this don't help either "However, this is not an ordinary DDoS attack; the attacker posesses considerable resources and is operating at a scale beyond that which we have the means to mitigate ourselves." :(

Can you point me to some good ones? I have found some excellent British authors with roots in GCHQ, but the American ones I have tried reading so far have been all very black-and-white which makes them super boring.

These are GIT repositories, they have their own cryptographically unique identifiers. No need to send your data to a third-party to get it confirmed. Maybe I'm missing something, but this whole operation feels like a huge infrastructur

Unlike the ones you mentioned, Go doesn't have a central repository. The go.mod contains references to git repositories or local folders: https://go.dev/doc/modules/gomod-ref Not sure why a proxy is needed.

Hold on a minute. You are confusing the network stack (as in OS development) and network applications. Go is the undisputed king of backend, but no reasonable person has ever claimed its a good choice for OS development.
