By the way, a car with electric propulsion and regenerative braking should be able to "know" its weight quite precisely (from the amount energy that is needed to accelerate or the amount of energy that is returned when regen-braki

Maybe that is the point - I guess it means that the "main" version is about to change.

The name is highly confusing, at least for a European. While I read through the text, I try as hard as I can to context-switch from a car brand to something else, and I fail. But if this service can only text to US phone numbers, then this

Interesting how the "crash test dummy" positional markers at the corners are hand-drawn, not printed.

I remember that when I was a teenager, every male around me (both adults and kids of my age and older) smoked. But I never tried, not even once. My reasoning was the following: if I try it and I don't like it, then I would regret tryin

It was worse than that. The head drum continued to spin throughout the entire duration of the pause, rubbing against the film at high speed. That's because the VCR didn't have any "memory" to hold the entire frame¹, so t

No, I really meant what I said. If you see a video that's labeled "60 fps", quite likely it's actually 60/1.001 fps. It applies to the entire 24/30/60/120 range.

Same thing about frame rates derived from NTSC, where e.g. 60 fps in not really 60 fps, but 60/1.001 fps. Those extremely inconvenient frame rates are ubiquitous in systems that have nothing to do with analog broadcast television (e.g.

If you consider the scenario of dictating over the phone, letters can be confusing not just because of their written shape. For many non-English speakers, for example, E can be confused with I, and V can be confused with W, unless both side
