I actually saw this on my trip to London last month. Definitely one of the more interesting exhibits there, part art, part historical exhibit, part philanthropy. Definitely worth a visit in person.

Accessibility mostly means that the intended experience is preserved if you need to use tools like screen readers. Accessibility != User Friendly

First amendment has limitations. Saying fire in a movie theater, for example. Multiple courts in a number of separate jurisdictions have ruled that the first amendment does not protect Jones in these cases

An interesting tidbit that I found in the source code is that it only accepts integers from 1 to 20. Perfectly sufficient for its use case, although not quite extendable as I would hope

Great write up! I still don't really see the point in pre-rendered backgrounds for PC/console games anymore though. GPUs nowadays are powerful enough and storage space is limited enough that you can just render everything realtime

Yup, as an American this is a pretty accurate assessment for the most part. It's also worth noting that several states actually have different systems to close the gap for people who don't fit into the medicare-medicaid-chips safe
