But in most cases injury has nothing to do with the movement. It’s load or workload. I’ve been lifting for 2 years and have not experienced any long lasting pain and have not been injured. My progress is slow, 330/225/360 S/B

Fortune 100 is not a startup. It’s a giant wheel where 95% of the workforce is pretending they are doing something, including executives.

I believe that Albanian is pretty much unrelated to anything except by some shared Ottoman vocabulary.

Yep it’s kruh although people in the south of Croatia more often use kruv. Hleb is used probably more in Serbia than in Croatia.

There’s also Kajkavian language and language of Hvar/Brač islands (lots of Italian words) which aren’t even understandable by the majority of Serbo-Croatian population.

What I found was that people cannot relate to individuals with chronic pain or illness. If the person talks about it most will interpret that as complaining or having negative view on life. It’s quite hard for me to watch as my loved ones g

The temperature increase can happen during the night. Increased CO2 might benefit plant life making the planet greener. Is it too late? It probably is. Nth order effects will have the most impact. Methane leaking from Siberian ice is equiva

It’s a SRS without context. You could probably put contextual bandits somewhere in the loop and optimize for the individual. I found it very disappointing when Duolingo released their paper on optimizing their global SRS on data they collec

There’s a setting you can tweak allowing you to set smaller intervals like 1 3 7 15 30 minutes until card will be postponed for the next day. Takes a bit longer to learn a new card but it should work. I went from 30% forgotten on each sess

How exactly do you avoid customs when flying back? Electronics is cheaper in US but every time I fly back to Europe they check my bags.

Although here they used a Lin Kernighan Helsgaun heuristic for most of the work. The heuristic algorithm does not use linear programming. Maybe a bit of graph theory, like minimum spanning trees or harder Steiner trees, mainly for selecting

Geometric distance implies symmetry, asymmetric TSP can be converted to symmetric by doubling the number of vertices.

I built a data intensive website with Hugo and it’s horrible. Template engine is very bad. Hard to write reusable small functions (string manipulation, array manipulation, data extraction, mapping one form of data to other, filtering etc.).

Yet the average calorie intake in the USA, Australia and UK is at its highest amount in history. My country (Croatia) went from an average of ~20kg of meat per year per person (~1990s) to ~70kg of meat per year per person in 30 years. The a

Beer contains magnitudes more phytoestrogens than soy. I do not understand how soy is then to blame for phytoestrogen content when people consume more beer in their life than soy products. That is the only reason why I mentioned beer. I do

It was implied that phytoestrogens from soy affect fertility when most of phytoestrogens consumed come from beer. Phytoestrogens do not have any significant effect on male hormones. Getting fat because one eats too much of food is the main

As a vegan I agree that these foods come no where near the nutrition qualities of meat or organs. But I do not think that’s the point.

There's massively more phytoestrogens in beer than in soy. Fertility rates are crashing because men are getting massively fat.

I’m wondering if authors removed the debug and mem counting code from Knuth CWEB files. All operations are accompanied by memory access counters. I looked at the code and it’s as easy change of the define macro.
