You've got 650 marginal elections where people can only pick one party - and not a coalition through prioritized votes. Compare this to the US where each congressional election is usually between two or three candidates/parties. T

I've generally come to associate Amazon shipments with dinged packages, so I'd for one look forward to the circus that'll ensue from this.

A tiny, lightning fast jQuery-like library for modern browsers. Respectfully, this entire description is an oxymoron. Every time someone mentions a jQuery-like microlibrary, they just mean a jQuery without wide browser(-quirk) sup

If I just want to clean up some basic code in a .html file with a terminal script - preferably with a "--watch" flag, what's the simplest way of accomplishing that? Also seems like the best way to ease into it.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it were because of the B&M companies. British videogame retailers still wield a big influence over British and to some extent European release windows.

The hyper-regionalization is an odd construction; makes you wonder just how much there is to save by printing a bunch of different (sub-)region versions compared to just bundling most on one “English” printing. Especially in the age of Amaz

A lot of Region 2 DVDs don't even have English subtitles. It's the dumbest thing.

Don't know how it is in English-speaking countries, but Netflix's laughable subtitle translations are as common a conversation topic as the weather and sports where I live. I have no idea why they don't bother stepping it up.

I think semantics are important here, especially in a technical context. There are several way to "unpublish" an article: - Retract it - Delete it - Completely erase it from the web What BuzzFeed did in at least two cases was dele

Yeah, my MacBook Air's battery is dying, and instead of getting a new battery, I have to hand it to a certified shop and fork over $300. It just seems dumb to me not to be cognizant of the fact that batteries tend to kick it after 3-5
