Just set multiple reminders on your phone throughout the day to get up and do a little bit of exercise. A five minute walk, two minutes of jumping jacks, and three push-ups are better than nothing.

The difference with software engineering is even if you "fail" you usually have a nice pile of money to show for it. If you drop out of a PhD all you have is some cool stories and obscure knowledge.

You're kind of reinforcing my point that while there are things that incidentally help men, none of that is done in the name of "gender equity". For example you mention incarceration and studies show a "sentencing gap&

It's funny that on average women already live 5 years longer than men, but every "gender equity" initiative seems more interested in increasing that gap than decreasing it.

But thankfully we don't live in a libertarian utopia where owning all the land means that you automatically run the world. The land remains in America subject to American law which is decided by American voters. The value of the land c

Sex and race are just treated differently by law. The supreme court wouldn't allow drafting only black people, but it does allow drafting only men.

Yes male nurses already get drafted into lifting the heavy patients, and dealing with the ornery patients, just because they're male, so it's no surprise many men nope out of nursing.
