Very interesting! I had never read anything like that before. Truthfully though, it makes me like the KIPP program even more, as I am glad that tools of mass persuasion can finally be used for good.

This is an excellent article, and fascinating to read. However, 5/6 of the way down the page, a blue share bar appears on top that I cannot click out of. It is quite annoying.

And data supports this theory. See some of Hans Rosling's Ted talks, as income goes to $60,000 in the U.S.A., happiness steadily increases, then levels off.

This is a little off topic, but do you have any links to more information on the theory of "attention based economy"? It sounds quite interesting.

It's cool, but I wish there was a way to separate what jobs you want mail for. (different types of programming, marketing, seo, product management, there is a lot of variety.)

The worst of it is, if you google "Google+", the site is the 4th result. If you google "Google +", it doesn't even show up. I guess Google doesn't hire SEO experts?

Saying you lived below a COO makes it seem like you lived in Manhattan. It is quite easy to live comfortably in the outer boroughs (one hour commute to Manhattan) on far less - I would be comfortable with even $40,000 a year.
