Apart from SHENZHEN, most other games from Zachtronics are great about teaching programming. I can recommend spacechem, which looks simple at first glance, but is all about threads, multiprocessing, mutexes etc. Silicon Zeroes is also anothe

I was like you, until I tried wireless headphones outside and was amazed. For some activities like running having no cables to deal with is a great experience (that you should try at least once)

Maybe not. But if you want to buy headphones today with NC, most of them will be wireless.

It has an app. And unfortunately the app is the only way to set noise reduction to any level other than 0%, 50%, 100% (that is available with the hardware button). If for example you want noise reduction to 75% you need to use the app. Same

I think the issue here is that Github is considered a mature product and it just works. So is there any actual pressure to move fast and break things?

ok, makes sense. But then why would somebody have so many targets on a makefile? What are the common scenarios for having so many targets in a makefile if not for doing different installation options?

If your makefile has so many targets, maybe you are doing too much and you need to use another tool such as autoconf/automake on top?

There are several scenarios in enterprise companies where you have multiple releases of your product (and all of them are live at the same time) as well as the need to backport fixes to older versions. Git-flow is the answer in most of thos

The issue is bringing the author of the MIT code to your HQ for a fake interview and make suggestions that he will work with you. You just milk him for information and let him go without any further communication.

Let me clarify because I wasn't clear in the parent comment. Microservices using shared libraries -> ok Microservices "suffering" from shared libraries -> not ok.

Sorry for not being clear. Having a shared library is not a bad thing on its own. Making the library a bottleneck is the anti-pattern. If you wish to have a shared-library of microservices you should be prepared to have multiple versions of

Senheiser PXC 550 Wireless have a setting from 0 to 100% for Noise Reduction. The setting persists everytime you power the headphones, so if you set it once there is nothing to remember. You can change it on the fly with the mobile app.
