The way to properly make it is to have someone else make it and claim it as your own :)

I really like the goat farming quote, as we all have to start somewhere. Still, the takeaway isn't that you can find a song on the internet and claim it to be your own creation.

It is a tool only when used as a tool, in the sense you're talking about. For example, I can write a sentence, and being a non-native English speaker, I can tell there's something wrong with it but I just can't place my finge

Your comment is misleading. About point no. 2, that’s the recommended amount of added sugar, not counting fruits. There are no studies to my knowledge that show increasing fruit intake increases chances of diabetes. But there are studies th

It is a very ridiculous claim. There’s a study (don’t have the link to it as I’m writing from my phone). It says that increasing fruit juice intake leads to an increased risk of diabetes. Whereas increasing fruit intake leads to a decreased

My experience has been largely the same. I started eating more fruits, cut off sugary drinks completely, and had an impressive improvement in LDL cholesterol.

Recently I was considering buying some erythritol. Never tried it, but I read it was a good and "healthy" sugar substitute. Now I'm inclined to think that most substitutes won't do me any good. I suppose I'll stick

I wonder what the memory requirements would be to run such a large model. I'd love to be able to run this model, alas my MacBook can barely run toy models.

I think it's a good show. Is there brigading? There could be, but that itself wouldn't be enough if the show itself was not good enough. Is it 9/10? Mmm, not really. Anecdotally, I've found that generally HBO needs to pa

I've had what I believe to be "tinnitus" since I was a kid. It's not always a high pitched sound, I only get that sometimes, probably like when healthy people get it. The kind of tinnitus I have is what I can only descri

I have a tendency to "avoid conflict" which I kind of hate about myself, although I try to push myself to stand up more about myself. It's very pleasing to see the author has made peace with himself about this. Though I'

It's a bit ridiculous to see people – who I believe to be tech literate – argue how Apple allowing more access to the device is going to be the end of the world. In my opinion, Apple could very well give a special entitlement to develo

Are you trying to argue that it would be different if Apple allowed side loading? (Not the current 7 day crap) Do you expect most users would know about side loading in Apple's case?

AFAIK the stomach remains the same size, but what changes is how your body processes hunger. I've noticed while fasting that after a while, my body gets used to reduced food intake. Then I can get full by eating considerably less than

In my experience with things made by Apple, when they work, they just work. But when they fail, they do so "successfully" :) Case in point: Airdrop. Super convenient when it works, doubly annoying when it doesn't.

Did you have to accept a prompt? There's a preinstalled app to do that in macOS, called Screen Sharing. You can remotely access other people's macs using only their Apple ID, and their approval of course.

I tried watching Seinfeld with my partner like a year ago; we couldn't make it past the first few episodes. We never laughed, maybe a slight smile a few times but that's about it. The standup bits were my least favourite part. Wha

I'm guessing you mean "work from anywhere" jobs? In the US there are plenty of remote jobs, but few companies allow you to work from almost any country.

IMO this is an issue of taxes being very high. I'm against progressive taxation; people like to call it fair because "rich people should pay more", but you'd already pay more by just making more under a proportional taxa

For some companies, giving a compensation range, e.g. $150k-$200k, would most likely create turmoil internally. Imagine Bob has many years in that role, and makes $160k. If I were Bob, I'd have a conversation with HR as to why I'm
