Would be a cool addition to let users upload an mp3 and then act on it with the AudioWorklet to do stuff like bit crushing.

The problem is that mootools did it first. But (I think, I’m on my phone and can’t check), they won’t replace the method if it already exists. So the problem is that if the spec differs in behavior at all from the mootools implementation,

What would a service like that do during television timeouts? I’ve found silent “we’ll be right back” screens to almost be worse than ads in some ways. It’s just a weird feeling.

Is this like a voting ring situation? Are people otherwise having trouble finding links to front-end JavaScript libraries?

You can combine sine waves in an infinite number of ways, so I think it's safe to assume there are plenty of sounds nobody has ever heard before. To some degree, it's about how you group things. If you believe a guitar and a banjo

Can you provide a source for that? Closest thing I could find was this, which simply adds an ASI hazard clause: https://github.com/tc39/ecma262/pull/1062

Base price (w/o tax credits) of the Model S is very similar to the base price of a 7 series Bimmer. The 5 series is about $30k cheaper to start. Doesn't seem fair to compare sales figures from an $80k car against those from a $50k

I know that title isn't 100% right, but (a) the one on the blog is pretty much useless and (b) a more correct title would've been too long. Open to suggestions.

That's irrelevant. Look, same example but with an object. let a = { bar: 'baz' }; function foo( a ) { a = { beep: 'boop' }; } foo( a ); console.log( a ); // { bar

JavaScript is absolutely not pass by reference. let a = 1; function foo( a ) { a = 2; } foo( a ); console.log( a ); // 1

Might be missing something, but I'm fairly certain that Mapbox requires you to include attribution here. They also prohibit printing for commercial purposes, although that's lifted for enterprise plans, which you might have.

I remember reading it takes several days on super beefy hardware just to import all of the data from openstreetmap and openaddresses they they use to run mapzen. I don't think this is a thing where you just whip up a docker-compose fi

Really sad to see. I've been very happy with Mapzen for the past year or so. Their open source stuff is really good, and the service itself is excellent as well. Not quite as polished as Google/Mapbox, but absolutely usable in pro

Mapzen is also excellent (although definitely less mature than Mapbox), and a huge chunk of their stack is open source.
