It's possible when you don't realise that something will be cached (for whatever reason - incorrect verb, missing etag or cache-control headers, some cookie confusion), and suddenly everyone starts seeing one person's experie

It's also possible that a site may misleadingly return 451 codes to indicate that they've been censored when perhaps they haven't, maybe in order to inflame a discussion or some other political maneuvering. So, not only can

If you hover over the bars, the "Global Market Share" numbers seem to match up so I guess it's that.

Also, concerningly, you can request it on https but the cert's CN is "root.hackers.fi". Maybe I'll just use the older version in Ubuntu's repository instead, or clone it from Github or something like that.

This was linked from the recent DevOps Weekly newsletter ( http://www.devopsweekly.com/ ) and I thought it looked interesting. Has anyone used it or care to share opinions about it?

From memory, when you create an ElastiCache cluster, you have to choose whether it's memcache or redis. It's really just a very thin wrapper around them running EC2 instances in your VPC which are running either memcache or redis

I'd guess because it's aimed as a generic attach-to-any-truck setup, where people other than Samsung may not want to run cables through their truck. Also, the cab and the trailer will often be detached and changed; an extra set o

Does anyone else find the Github status "messages" page [0] a bit jarring in how it's organised? The way that, when read from top to bottom, time goes forwards within a day but backwards across days? I guess I normally would

This is good news; it was always the "missing link" in hosting PCI-compliant services on AWS forcing you to use something like a different hostname for the checkout flow vs the rest of your site.

You're welcome, and thanks for making the change. I use Firefox Nightly, so it may be that it was a problem waiting for an up'n'coming Firefox release before it got more widely noticed.

Interestingly, in my firefox, the CSS style "font-weight: 100" makes the text virtually blend into the background and quite unreadable.

I wonder why all of the display backlights are on? I understand having the laptops open to stop them going to sleep without an external display, but I'd've thought you could turn the backlight all the way to "off".

Yes - at least, from a sample size of 1 (me) I like the old cronolog way of doing this, and it means I don't get the rotate-a-day-later-to-avoid-trailing-lines-in-compressed-logfiles issue.
