I'd guess because it's aimed as a generic attach-to-any-truck setup, where people other than Samsung may not want to run cables through their truck. Also, the cab and the trailer will often be detached and changed; an extra set of cables will probably be a bit annoying. Plus "wireless" makes a press release sound cool...
