He doesn't mention flow, as in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flow_(psychology) . Without it, you're pretty much wasting time whether you're at home or at the office. It might be easier to force yourself to do some menial tasks at the office

There's absolutely no point in trying to "suffer" ads. If the ads are of no interest to you, then it's a dying business model anyway. Using AdBlock is a way of communicating to the advertisers that they're doing it wrong, at least in your p

Is this in some way significantly better than using normal REST APIs to communicate? It seems to me like we've been through various RPC's in the past (SOAP, XML-RPC, etc.) and REST has generally proven the simplest and most interoperable so

In my own experience, using an existing CMS has rarely fulfilled project requirements very well. It's never about just "static pages". You want things like menus and sidebars with specific structure, multi-language support, commenting, sear

Interesting, I completely disagree with this. I don't want an extra window popping up for downloads, having to switch to it to check the status, and I find Chrome's download bar very useful to immediately click what I just downloaded.

Then again, if nobody maintains a current version that's compatible with the latest OSX and provides automatic updates, you can say that the product "dies off" even if the source code is still out there.

I understand this causality as: People must pay taxes in USD, so they need to eventually convert whatever currency they use in business into USD, in order to pay their taxes (or go to jail). And this gives USD the backing - having it keeps

Are there lots of people who like JavaScriptMVC? I used it but soon moved to Backbone.js. And now I'm considering moving to Spine.js, which looks more advanced. (Or, at least more "rails-like" with its Model API.)
