I know GSuite is on a whole tier lower standard of support, but man do we have horror stories there. Here's a fun one: One of our engineers needed to send out a couple hundred individual emails to other people inside our company. So, b

The cafe near my office resells Costco baked goods like muffins and cookies. They primarily do hot breakfast/lunch/sandwiches, but hey, sometimes people just want a cookie.

I've only noticed it on produce. Fruit and vegetables can be a bit cheaper at the normal grocery store. I assume it's because Costco usually sells those items packaged while the grocery store typically does not. Real example since

Aw. The best part of E3 was always the decor all the studios do to their booth. Hard to replicate that experience since it's very similar to visiting an art museum. I wonder if the studios will just release the playable demos to the pr

Seriously. Something like an AWS nano instance only costs $4/month and can easily handle that many requests an hour with a slow dynamic language.

To adjust the mask. You won't have direct contact with your hands, but the mask is a better environment for disease than your skin is, so touching it instead of your skin isn't any better.

No one _wants_ Tesla's chemistry. Tesla is the only automaker using the NCA chemistry. Sure, they're improving NCA quite admirably, but every other automaker would rather use and develop NMC. Traditional automakers would rather ha

Engineers can't even go through a code review without getting butt hurt. And that's when you're on the same team with mostly the same goal. Usually the blowback to the company hits marketing/legal/HR. Gathering and

In our case, it's not an iron-clad no feedback allowed policy. We're just much more careful about giving it, approval is given on a case-by-case basis. A good typical whiteboard interview naturally includes hints, feedback, and co
