Yet another reason to buy something better than a MacBook. :) Don't get me wrong, I used to love Macs. But they really started screwing their own prosumers, ohhh, back in 2011 when they made Final Cut Pro X into a "for dummies&q

I'm sorry if it seemed like I made that assumption. I certainly didn't mean to. There were attempts at similar things in the Nordics, and certainly Russia displaced many local tribes in its hunt to stamp out any ethnical uniquenes

Being part Sami I think it's fascinating to read about the system of reservations in the USA. I'm not sure about minority rule, but I'm clearly in favour of saving the unique cultures and ethnicities from dying out. After man

I think prjeddie's concerns are extremely relevant. However he's not the only one working on things like this, thus it's unlikely that research and development will stop, although I certainly think such development is ethical

I remember about 10-15 years ago, I went there during their Liberation Day. There was a TV on, and I could understand most of what was said, due to having visited Bulgaria many times before. The guy was standing on a podium, between two eag

I'm actually amazed that there was a somewhat troll-free discussion about the protests and riots going on in the USA (and the West) right now. I think this is a giant kudos to HN. It's just a great feeling that we can disagree, bu
