Great. My coworker got hit by massive targeted identity theft which started with their SIM, provided by Optus. The attackers were able to successfully port my coworker’s Optus number and then hacked their Optus email which had everything in

They’re not talking about Spring/Boot or Micronaut though. There isn’t even any evidence the author has any more experience with them than what little they have with Quarkus. It’s a rant.

I mean, GitHub supports svn clients but it’s git all the way down. Granted I haven’t used svn on GitHub but I doubt it’s treated as a first class citizen. This is really just a stepping stone to migrating your VCS to git.

What other VCS has the same tooling, free-as-in-free-beer online services, and broad base of surface knowledge as git? When I started studying my TAs brought out a cool new tool called Mercurial which was my introduction to version control.

Fair enough, if a user is maintaining packages on their computer with Homebrew I feel like they should take some responsibility for that. Unless it’s a cask, they should figure it out themselves or you can only really provide your best effo

Hate is such a strong feeling to have towards a package manager. I don’t see how a freely built, freely available tool that you don’t have to use could cause such negative feelings, but if you just don’t use it then you’ll get over it.

Maybe it’s only for stock at the point of sale, and there’s no change to flashing your own ROM from a project like Lineage? If that’s the case this sounds excellent and a small price to pay. If not then it sounds like it would cripple the

I held off replacing my 2015 MBP for a long time, but a couple months ago I blew out one of the speakers and the quality of all replacement speakers I could find for sale online looked very suspect. I got my new MBA M2 just the other day, I

Maybe I’m not understanding where you’re coming from because as far as I can tell a ‘lfdkjsj’ and a ‘skfjwb’ which are both an IItem, or both a IWhcjwp, is easier to work with than the dynamic alternative. Regardless of how poorly named a v

An item is an IItem, as it says in the definition. You can always ‘figure out what an item is’ in a dynamic typing system, that’s not the problem. There’s an incredible amount of mental overhead in any non-trivial project which employs dyna
