Fair enough, if a user is maintaining packages on their computer with Homebrew I feel like they should take some responsibility for that. Unless it’s a cask, they should figure it out themselves or you can only really provide your best efforts. If you use a third-party package manager you should learn to be comfortable and familiar with how it works, or at least with how packages are declared, so you can troubleshoot your own problems and if necessary raise issues on the project.
