Didn't mean to be blunt, but I had no idea how the sections fit together and what you were trying to say. Clearly I am missing the context which others seem to have, since it's on the frontpage of HN.

What a strange article, going on about the PC history in Sweden, hacking on the Quake2 codebase and VR headsets to one small paragraph that actually discusses the title of the article without really answering the question in any satisfying

I admit this is snarky and not entirely plausible, but you could also move to a place where good education is free, as it should be.

In my company and many others, germans are actually in the minority, at least in product and tech. Talent shortage lets companies bring a lot of people from all over the world and English is the lowest common denominator. We have many more

Living in working in the Berlin tech world, English is already the official working language in most companies. Even as I german i have no problem with this, my only gripe is that it makes it very hard for my non-german colleagues to learn

I work for a competitor of Deliveroo and in asia you already have these all encompassing delivery apps that started with food and now deliver almost anything. Some also started as Uber competitors branching out into delivery like Uber does

Still Telegram is good enough. It is feature rich, offers good security if you want and most importantly has no ties to FB or Google.

you need 60Hz and 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, otherwise text can look really bad. I don't know any models in the 200 range that support this.
