I'm always amazed at how Noisebridge seems to survive. It's grimy, chaotic and in an expensive city. But it always survives somehow.

My first real software gig was having a conversation with someone and them asking if I knew anything about making a flash program talk to a ticket printer. I described the approach I would take and they said they would pay me XX an hour if

Goonfleet has always loved their charismatic fascist leaders though. A whole lot of the early GF propaganda was veiled Triumph of the Will.

He was previously a DC lawyer who FIREed and moved out to WI. I think he made a little money but I don’t think it was anything other than toy money.

I mean at the end of the day Goonswarm was entertainment for Mittens. So when imaginary spaceships become unfun, its probably time to go. He was far better than Remedial was.

Not only will it not lower taxes, people will pay even more for the service with higher increases each year. And in 10-20 years with no investment they will wonder why the telecom system is breaking.

Probably get you through more doors than someone without one if you both have zero experience. It can lessen the hurdle of getting that first experience also if you take advantage of internship your university can arrange.

UT Austin is a completely established school. I'm talking about the deceptively named University of Austin which is the Musk, Rogan, Fridman affiliated school opening maybe soon. I don't know if those 3 are actually affiliated wit

These new "freedom" or other themed universities set my griftdar off every time. Like the University of Austin does. I'm not very fond of the grifty nature of established post-secondary education either. But you at least get

I'm a terrible driver and its probably best there is an automated system to back me up. And from my experience with my daily commute, there are also many other terrible drivers on the road. While Autopilot isn't perfect, its bett

It has more to do with the RPI people not communicating about their supply issues effectively and not being effective in working with customers to plan for them. While that doesn't currently affect the Pico, maybe it will in the future

It mean pretty much nothing. SpaceX has 10 years (2028) to get things up and running. If Starship isn't running in a year or two SpaceX has more trouble than just the RDOF competition. 2.0 Starlink sats are theoretically a 10x capacity

I'm going to avoid RPI products where I can for right now. All the issues with availability have turned me off on them. Their attempts to get compute modules to businesses using them for products seems to have failed (or at least I hav

There is a long list of things that work poorly and would be nice to change out with something that works. UI - Just let me integrate 3rd party apps finally. Deeprain - My car likes to run the wipers on a perfectly dry sunny day sometimes.
