A few thousand loonies on the Internet believing something weird but harmless doesn't weigh up to millions of Indians pooping on the street

Looks really heavy. Also, no back rest. And no pillow, so hard on your butt. Not a great design if you ask me.

Yes, are you sure you understand what the legal situation for the Internet is under the current US system? I'm all for net neutrality, but NOT the way it'd being done now.

The US net neutrality system is a fast track to government regulation of the Internet. If you want to keep the Internet free, oppose it.

I think people tend not to think of editing Wikipedia as a long term time investment. YouTube videos don't feel like volunteering to me because more often than not it's a job. And open source development probably just wouldn'

I'd say 4chan probably changed my life the most. Not only did it have a big influence on my tastes to this day, it also (indirectly) introduced me to some of my best friends and taught me a lot of social skills

I disagree with most of these, but I'll pick on one in particular: the death penalty. I think, or at least hope, the usage of the death penalty will increase. Some people definitely can't be rehabilitated, and life imprisonment is

A friend of mine used to develop for minecraft servers essentially professionally. Getting paid $100 for an hour's worth of work was not too uncommon. Back then they typically paid on a project basis, though.

I'm pretty sure that a nomadic lifestyle, massive technological disadvantage and vulnerability to pathogens played a bigger role in that than psychedelics, but feel free to prove me wrong if you have a credible source on what you are i

It's the opposite, rather. People retiring to those countries go there with lots of cash, spend it, then die. It's like tourism for the rest of your life.

If the printed money is identical? No, you'd be treated the same for both. If you're talking about different bills then your analogy obviously doesn't apply.

It might be annoying but it probably wouldn't be an "obstacle", especially considering things like evil-mode exist. That's how it went for me, anyways. From vim user to trying Emacs because it has some feature that I nee

No, it doesn't. $0.78 per person per hour is a lot of money; 10% of minimum wage. Ofc you're not paying people minimum wage but it's still a nontrivial amount

Fucking hell no. This is one of the most atrocious things I've read in a long time. It's deeply unethical, immoral, and a massive violation of bodily integrity. It's horrible and shocking that this is allowed.
