I would rather move towards less discrimination based on person's nationality not because it’s impossible but because it’s not great morally.

Off-topic but still makes me sad: Spotify removed all episodes of Joe Rogan for me by removing podcasts feature from Ukrainian (and not only) users. I’m a paid user btw. Worst part is that since JRE is free for such large part of internet u

Our startup relies on server-side HTML rendering in Headless Chrome, and some ImageMagick image manipulation. Due to how optimised these machines are for this use-case, I do plan to evaluate them to replace the much pricier AWS instances.

Locking a wild animal? Yes. Locking a domesticated one, the one that co-evolved with humans, gaining some features (like facial expression) specifically in a context of coexistence? I’m not that sure. Please see two evolutionary biologists

What is meant by "switching" here? Forcing others to install/use the client for communication with you? I have all of them installed, different people use different ones, I don't care really.

I need to use Windows for Visual Studio, Unity Editor and other things targeting Windows, but I've been a Linux person for 14 years now and would like to still do as much as possible via the tools I'm used to.

Correct, you shouldn't do that. On the other hand, event of simultaneously resizing and writing input is kind of rare, and this will be fixed on next resize/input event, so I wouldn't be too bothered.

One nice trick I use to avoid boilerplate is SetModel msg which just sets new model state (passed in message itself). Good for simple and stupid messages like text input that just updates the model.
