Interesting read. I don't know if I completely agree, but I don't disagree either, and appreciate this kind of bluntness.

Every single web desktop I have seen allows you to drag windows off the screen. Disclaimer, I built a few as well, and though I will publish a shameless plug here for my most recent one, I am retiring the UI but moving the functionality int

Just a shot in the dark here.... an API / UI that can perform calculations for anything, combined with AI that has access to live data in lots of financial markets.

I notice this is WebSocket based, which I am a fan of, but considering WebSocket is TCP, do you have any plans for a UDP transport?

Wouldn't using it as a monitor for a Mac work for that?

Well if you don't like it you can make your own project and fix technology today if that's your thing.

I have skills and money, but not much time. With that in mind, I'm building an audio platform with a streaming video game overlay (i.e. Forza Horizon, Spiderman, Cyberpunk 2077), where all the participants on the call can play, and I l

Seems like there could be a lot of false positives in that, and some high frustrations. If I slowly blink my eyes right now, I'm more prone to doze off than stay hyper-focused on whatever I'm working on.

Perhaps not, but I'm curious if there are people who have addictive personalities to their own projects where they may spend a lot of time away from their families (like, their children) or may postpone other types of responsibilities,

I use Parallels w/ an Xubuntu VM running some Docker projects and am pleased with the results. Filesystem performance used to be better than Docker Desktop, but they seem about on par w/ one another now.

Curious to hear anyone's experience playing non-VR-optimized games on a VR headset, as I have a lot of those types of games and am working on a WebRTC project that streams those types of games.

My goal is to get as much performance as possible out of a browser acting as a WebRTC server, the "middle peer" of the other peers. While there are better setups that could be done, this offers a lot of flexibility, is relatively

Cool project. I wouldn't worry too much if you aren't getting any feedback from here, especially since your project seems to have some traction on GitHub.

Thanks for this feedback. I'll check them out. I'm currently paying nearly $600/mo. for a 2-gpu rental (two RTX 4070s), and can't seem to get a processor model any later than 2016.

Thanks for the links, anyway. I won't try to justify why I'm doing this, but I've been at it for about 4 years now, though the GPU rentals are a new addition.

No docs, just an obseevation: It appears that karma for submissions doesn't add to the tally, only comments. I was literally just thinking about this as well when I had observed that on my own account and noticed this thread.

You guys may call me out for being silly and naive, but I'm renting cloud GPUs to test out a WebRTC project I'm building so I can play games w/ people on the same call. It's really a way of optimizing the call software,
