Do you have the emails of the users? Why not just ask them directly? Sure only a small percent will respond, but it might be able to give you some direct insight into why people aren't using it more rather than you trying to guess. A lot of

Get a book on PHP, Python or whatever language your mobile platform of choice uses. Learn the language and try actually doing the examples in the book and getting them to work. Once you've done that start making things. It doesn't need to b

I would hardly call this a mistake. He choose taking smaller option package that would be more likely to be in the money than sticking with his larger option package that would only become valuable if Apple's stock skyrocketed.

This is hardly a blunder. He decided to go with the less risky option of taking the smaller share of options instead of betting that Apple stock was going to skyrocket over the next 5 years which seems like a sane choice to me.

Concept is good and I think it is definitely useful. 1) The interface should guide you through the process of creating a search and adding item. Maybe do that if they don't have any saved searches. 2) You should be able to add comments for

Still its absurd to assume someone is going to make your entire idea for you for free in exchange for vague promises of compensation if it becomes big.

In their evaluation it appears they are comparing their server written in C or C++ (since they call OS functions like poll) to SEDA which is written in Java. In the original SEDA paper, if I remember correctly, the authors noted SEDA wasn't

The reason I said free is better is due to this blog post from OkCupid http://blog.okcupid.com/index.php/2010/04/07/why-you-should-... in which they say a lot of the profiles in pay sites were created for free or are expired which means a

One example is online dating which is a very competitive market. The free product (such as OkCupid or PlentyOfFish) are arguably better than the paid product but a large segment still uses the paid product. eHarmony markets itself as being

Well the product does have a need. It is a replacement for something I've been doing in an ad-hoc way for a while now. I would use what I'm planning on making even if it never took off, but I figured it would be pretty cool if I could get

Delay actually sending a email by a few minutes so you have a chance to go back and edit it or 'unsend' if you need to. (And have a method to force it to send immediately if you're sure you won't want to edit it).
