Yes, there were huge rumours she was in big trouble. Many recounts. She is on a knife edge. Her majority, or lack of, would harm her authority. The Tories are all about performance and she simply hadn't performed.

I figured this was an automatic, statistical process and not a reflection of a company with ailing reputation as of late. I modified the title from the headline so it was less aggressive. Technological perspective from the competent technol

Not at all. I've seen this when police are searching cars owned by young drivers without children. My point was that it can and has been broadly applied. If an officer believes an object is intended to cause harm, you can be arrested f

I've seen police officers search for a ball when finding a baseball bat in someone's possession, implying that, without a ball, they consider it an offensive weapon. This has been in the context of searches based on unrelated susp

To note, this legislation covers a wider array that may shock our American commenters here. If the police pull you over and find a baseball bat without a ball, you are in violation of the offensive weapons act. Forget about handguns with le

It's difficult if I take it as something I'm meant to believe. I always get that tug in my stomach. It's interesting as a reflection of culture, of which religion takes a prominent part in much of history. I see it like viewi

Why is that? Some of the language isn't all that easy to get through but, taken as a piece of literary work, I don't find it that unreadable.

Can you recommend a good English translation of the Qoran if it exists? I've asked Muslim friends but they seem adamant that it must be read in Arabic or, at least, only know of the Arabic text.

To extend your last point, David Cameron has been down on record as saying "I can't wait to privatise it". It was said tongue in cheek as a response to unfavourable coverage. Job security obviously isn't a joke to BBC em

I've thought about this one for a while and I keep coming back to modelling actors with a set of behaviours that influences/triggers other behaviours and variable changes (which can then influence other behaviours and variables).

That's the most ridiculous thing that I've ever heard about marriage. In a solid, loving, marriage, your wife will resent you for not being open and honest. She's meant to be your best friend. She wants to be there for you as

Without much Clojure experience, I agree. Sequential, what-comes-first, is easier to read than finding the first evaluated expression and peeling backwards just to build the same mental model.

Here's a few more interesting facts: - before the Crown, there were several crowns. England was composed of a handful of Anglo-Saxon petty kingdoms - before that, it had an emperor. The Roman emperor. - parts were ruled by the Danish (

This is called an "audience". You can pretty much create an audience from anything. You can build up a whole chain of audiences. For example, if you watch a video ad, you can then be targeted. If you, say, click a link as part of

Not at all particular to writing. I believe Einstein went on frequent walks too. A walk through a park or a country path would be even better: greenery and nature has shown to boost creativity in some studies.
