Almonds are probably the most satiating food that I know. I eat a few of them and I am satiated for hours.

I think this article is very important because it differs from many others that supposes that the prosecution caused the suicide. I, like many others, am pissed with the overreach of the prosecution and think that the legal system must chan

I am running it all day and my CPU frequencies looks the same (I am tracking it on CPU Spy). Battery life is also the same. I didn't noticed any improvement on my Galaxy Nexus with Android 4.2.1.

I installed the patch and my CPU frequencies looks like the same, they are not scaling to max all the time. That said it is hard to notice any significant improvement after installing it.

I agree. As a brazilian I grew up playing soccer with anything available, and the joy to have a proper ball for a kid is amazing. Also there is a much better chance for a kid to evolve his skills and maybe be a professional player if he hav

I don't know if it is the "most talked Android phone to date". I think the Galaxy S series by Samsung have much more hype than Nexus (at least between "real" people that is not obsessed with gadgets), and I am pretty sure that the Nexus 4 w

That's incorrect. The S3 Mini has not the same punch as the S3, actually it is much weaker. "First off the Samsung Galaxy S3 has an Exynos 1.4GHz quad-core processor (1.51GHz Snapdragon dual-core for US variants), 4.8-inch Super AMOLED touc

Yes, it is pretty bad. But it is quite easy to update your phone using Odin. It is no excuse, obviously the right way would be to receive it on a timely manner, but if you can update yourself in like 30 minutes I see no reason to wait for a

The day they do this is the day that I will partition my disk, install another OS and never look back. OSX is the only Apple product that is still attractive to me, but I fear that I will have to jump out sooner or later.

I agree with him. You just have to use the Android Gmail app to notice that Google can do an awesome native e-mail app if they want. The phone client is so good that many times I prefer to use it than the web even when I am with my notebook

After a few years working on a OSX machine I arrived at a new job and had to work with a windows machine. I had the idea to try Powershell so I could share scripts with my colleagues, as I always done. One year later I am still using it, no

Isn't it ironic that the Galaxy Nexus (along with the rest of the Nexus line) is almost the only Android phone that Google can quickly update the software, remove/change the stuff that Apple supposedly "own" and sell it again quickly? If th

No, but it doesn't seem to be a common practice. Actually on my personal projects the first thing I do is to create a service layer, but sadly the real world projects that I jumped into never had it.

I agree, I really like the "services" layer. I used it for years programming with Java/Spring and missed a lot when learning RoR. I think it is no coincidence that the two RoR real-world projects that I worked had enormous controllers. The

It seems wonderful compared to Brazil, where $599 is "converted" to R$1.549,00 ($766), even if there is a Foxconn factory here now. It makes no sense at all.

I actually discovered that I am able to pay HBO for Game of Thrones. HBO decided to air GoT here in Brazil simultaneously with USA. I called my television provider, added HBO for R$ 30,00/mo (around $15.00) and after the end of the season 2

I follow Taubes, Sissons and Robb Wolf approach (paleo in general) because it just works for me and I love the food. I am thinner, stronger and with much better health eating tasty food and doing minimal exercise. I think Guyenet's approach

If you look for more references and science debate, I suggest 'Good Calories Bad Calories' from Taubes. 'The Primal Blueprint' has some references but it is more focused on the practical matter. I can say that it worked very well for me and

There is a long debate over this post. I personally found the best answer to the matter here: http://paleohacks.com/questions/49970/how-do-we-reconcile-st... Taubes also responded to Guyenet: http://garytaubes.com/2011/11/catching-up-on-

In my vision, these companies (Samsung, HTC, LG, etc) did not "invested" in Android. They used free Google software to actually save their own skins. What chance any of them would have in the smartphone transition using their own home-made

I use to drag and drop on my macbook many times a day to organize my Downloads folder and I found this application to be amazing. Bought it seconds after watching the video. Congrats, it is an amazing and well executed idea.
