I think the new design at https://sh.reddit.com/ (for desktop PC) is aimed at this. It's supposed to be better performant than the current design and dealing with criticized decisions like the heavy layered design, but

Yes, GPT 3.5 and less is particularly dangerous in this regard. I'd try this again against GPT-4 which should perform better. Essentially false information seems to go away _slowly_ with increased model sizes but then you hit the perfo

So the title is not correct? API access is free. Crawling is not? A major title change came from the New York Times source that is "Reddit Wants to Get Paid for Helping to Teach Big A.I. Systems". Now that makes it much more clear

Things went bonkers the last round of that. I mean, .google is a TLD. The upside is that this must be their end game. Can't make it much more liberal than this.

Ladybird is so crazy. How they are accomplishing that much in this short period of time with their manpower. I mean, it’s no small feat to make a web browser render many of today’s websites. I wonder if it’s skill or a good underlying rende

A coder should be worried about GPT-4, but not a software engineer. A software engineer is like 50% about networking and listening to client needs, requiring being attentive and with social skills (in so many meetings...) and that's co

Dear god no, use CSS for that. It's already hardware accelerated in the regular browsers. You're talking of website presentation and that's the purpose of CSS.

As always my first question in these articles is… Was it ChatGPT 3.5 or 4? It’s an interesting article with the real world examples that are hard to come by this early, but it’s also two entirely different ChatGPT’s here. They can’t even co

Would Brave maybe work better? But I personally feel a bit awkward about the crypto stuff in it even if it can be disabled. I don't think a browser should deal with these things. However, it might be personal preference... It does offe

Google is so f'ed right now. Can you imagine Google just released a davinci-003 like model in public beta? That only supports English and can't code reliably. OpenAI is clearly betting on unleashing this avalanche before Google ha

This ought to fix a thing or two about its lacking math capabilities as a LLM. Finally it'll get precise and accurate math. It boggles my mind to think of how many ways this will jive with the existing language model capabilities of GP

If you get the ClearURLs extension for Chromium or Firefox and follow a link with junk at the end, it will strip it. But I couldn’t get it to clean what goes into the clipboard and indeed this would be the best.

I think the latest iteration of Bing AI is better. More accurate, more firm to avoid the persuasion issues with ChatGPT, is current with the web rather than a cutoff date two years ago, and of course most importantly it provides sources lik
