I would absolutely love to work on building a simulation at this level of fidelity, but I feel like making it actually fun to play would be the largest challenge. Maybe if the scale of it was at a neighborhood scope it would be possible to

Size and weight being the same doesn't mean they weren't far strong than homo sapiens. We are quite a bit bigger and heavier than chimps, but chimps are about twice as strong as a typical human.

Messy yes, fumes yes, but the printers themselves are now less expensive than a decent FDM (filament) printer and the resin itself is relatively inexpensive as well.

Wifi from those days wasn’t nearly as good as a hard wire. Also, it might have just not been available. It wasn’t nearly as ubiquitous 20 years ago as it is now.

This reminds me of how long and how badly I have wanted to acquire a Kyma Pacarana. The thing is a 4 thousand dollar box of wonderful sound design magic. Being a hobbyist that only sporadically dabbles in music production and sound design I

Who said anything about hyperinflation? Regular inflation occurs constantly (and by design) and must be compensated for. If you just leave your cash in a checking account and walk away for 10 years you will come back to radically less buyin
