Just be mature and reasonable because stuff happens: "Sorry we missed each other yesterday. I thought we were scheduled to chat at 9am. Let me know if we can reschedule at a later date."

Can someone enlighten me on how easy this SQL injection vulnerability is to exploit? I thought that SQL injection was "mostly" a thing of the past with newer frameworks such as Rails and Django. I mean, short of concatenating your query str

For what it is worth I actually contacted newegg at http://help.newegg.com/app/ask/site/US/category/74 and asked them what they thought. I'm a big fan of newegg and hope they continue to bring competition to amazon. I am hoping this is ju

The quote in there from a transportation expert that the incentives probably won't work and that we will need big disincentives is oblivious to human psychology. People love to win things. Even against all odds. Hell we are terrible at esti

Thank you. I've been thinking about putting up a personal site for a while but never got around to it. I tend to be one of those "consumers of content" rather than producers (especially when it comes to blogposts). Hopefully this will chang

I always tell people that EC2 generally costs more than a VPS. They don't believe me until they actually do the calculation. You have to factor in things like bandwidth and storage as well (which is usually included for services like linode

Does it blow anyone else's mind that database servers are so powerful nowadays that you can just load half a billion rows into a SINGLE TABLE and pretty much expect things to work? Obviously there are caveats but all in all a nice chunk of

Insightful because I don't seem to enjoy Diablo 3 as much. I'm currently pretty bored with the inferno difficulty level. My options is to keep farming gold until I can afford something strong enough on the auction house to carry me further.
