For those not familiar League of Legends is played fairly competitively and usually 5v5 (10 players per game). The only thing that matters in ranked play is whether your team wins or loses. League has one of the most toxic communities I hav

This is a great post and more of these are surely needed. I think the reason we don't see many graduates speaking out is because they feel it might "de-value" their degree which I totally understand. However the lack of trans

This single issue would make me not want to use MongoDB. I'm sure there are design considerations around it but I rather use something that has sane semantics around these edge cases.

That site recommends libsodium which by default uses Argon2. The issue is that Argon2 is not very mature yet. Also if you are using python there is no good library out there. Ideally you want something well tested since it is possible for l

The one thing about wireless technology is that we still have a long way to go. On the one hand it is freaking amazing that we have a tiny device in our pocket that can pretty much pull down the world's information. On the other hand i

Great article! I wouldn't mind if you were even more opinionated. If I was looking for a charting library I'd very much like to know what you consider really good and what stinks. Especially with this much research.

This is some real life swordfish shit right here. This is not some run of the mill trojan keylogger. Whoever wrote this had plenty of access and time to get the malware correct.

I am really confused at this article. Uber and Lyft don't want to operate in areas that require fingerprint based background checks. I get it. Harder to get drivers, more process, etc. But isn't that just a cost of doing business?
