Netflix accounts for 30-50% of traffic these days yet only now have they needed to cut out a low quality middle-man to provide their service. I doubt startups have anything to worry about. If you manage to become 50% of Internet traffic you

Large ISPs like Comcast are offering services over a variety of different systems -- some may not be upgraded or otherwise do not have the capacity available to support the 105Mbit/sec package. This $250 fee is probably to cover the in

Part of this is seasonal traffic trends. Here in the North East when the weather starts getting hostile around November we see a big uptick in bandwidth usage among our customers. Utilization tends to peak in January and starts breaking as

Apple isn't even remotely close to having a monopoly in the SmartPhone market. That's such a non-sense thing to say in an official statement. My perception of block chain.info is now a company that lies / misrepresents the tr

I don't think we're quite there yet with tablets. Maybe another 3-4 years. They are relatively inexpensive and they have a strong hand-me-down life cycle. A lot of people buying new iPads every 1-2 years are doing so to give their

It's good for a small form factor budget gaming box. Kaveri closes the gap but at this point you can still buy a cheap non-APU processor + $100 faster discrete graphics card that will perform better at about the same cost. Even if simp

The problem I see with AMD's APUs is the GPU performance, even if it's twice as fast as Intel's GPUs, both Intel & AMD's integrated GPUs are totally adequate for 2D graphics, low end gaming, and light GPU computing.
