Not even. Factor in taxes, benefits, office space, software, hardware etc. Most employees actually end up costing you between something like 1.2-1.5x. So realistically, probably something like ~40k per employee is more accurate. That's

This is super interesting. I assume you're doing this through a few different APIs?

Wikipedia is far from truly democratic. It's tightly controlled by a small cabal of volunteers with their own biases and agendas. I'm not sure how someone would solve that, but paid people editing certainly wouldn't help.

Denver isn't exactly great at the moment either. However, we've taken a more proactive approach by building more housing instead of trying to keep people out.

My experience is very similar. I probably consume about 1 pack a year or so with friends in social environments. The other things is I do a fair amount of traveling and don't want to be rude or reject someone's hospitality if some

This is super cool. I do account services and doing the whole back and forth dance of scheduling a meeting takes up way too much time.

Unfortunately you can't guarantee results with advertising. However, you can mitigate some risks by taking an iterative approach and testing things before doing a large integrated campaign. You can save a lot of headache by running som

Sales people have much lower base pay and it's made up for with commission. Engineers would probably dislike the ability of the product to sell as a condition of their salary. It's all a question of risk tolerance.

It's interesting you say this. I took a similar approach to working on my anxiety disorder. Basically, found places with low anxiety instances and tried to emulate things that they did. Within a few months I went from daily, almost con

Germany has an abysmal fertility rate. It's probably in their best interest to attract young educated workers with subsidized college.

Same. The way I describe the difference is that I started using ride sharing services to avoid taxis. Then all the taxi drivers started driving uberx so I switched to Lyft. It's as much about the experience as it is the convenience.

Piling on, I live in Denver and maybe drive once a week tops. Even then, it's usually to get up to the mountains for skiing/hiking. (A huge consideration if you're considering where to live.)

I do digital advertising for tech companies as well as "learn to code bootcamps" etc. IMHO Adwords is overpriced. You're much better served by Facebook or Twitter. The social context is likely key for a play like this. I woul

This is interesting. I've dabbled with nootropics for reducing anxiety and helping with sleep, and I've been rather pleased with the results. This is obviously anecdotal, and could well be a placebo, but frankly I don't care.

I think this may be a play to make Twitter more valuable for SEO. Google is relying more and more on third party social. This may be an attempt to make marketers more excited about buying promoted posts etc.
